One of my days in Zurich, I decided to take a hike - it was 5.5 kilometers and it was mostly on the ridge of one of the (lower) mountains surrounding Zurich. Susan and I took the cable car to the top, had lunch and then I struck out on my own as she had some errands to run. i saw some beautiful views of Zurich below and also had some wonderful views as I went along. I also came across a tub by the side of the path..one of the more unusual views of the afternoon!

Hi Kathy! Maybe you saw this in action, but the tubs are used to water the cows! By the way, were you able to purchase any Swiss cow bells?
